Manufactured from killed steel to EN practice and supplied as sheet/plate cut from hot-rolled slabs. Available annealed (soft), normalized (fine-grained), or quenched & tempered to specified strength ranges. Shot-blasting/priming and T&C edges available on request.
Quality
Typical standards, delivery states, and guidance:
- Standard: EN 10083-2 (C45E/C45R) – non-alloy steels for quenching & tempering
- Delivery: +A (annealed), +N (normalized), +QT (quenched & tempered) on request
- Welding: Preheat & controlled heat input recommended; post-heat/slow cooling as needed
