About This Product

Black steel sheet is a hot-rolled, non–surface-treated carbon steel flat product offering a robust balance of strength, formability, and weldability for general fabrication. Supplied as sheets or coils, it features mill scale on the surface and is ideal where cosmetic finish is secondary to mechanical performance. Typical uses include formed panels, base plates, brackets, and structural components that may later be shot-blasted, primed, galvanized, or machined. Tight dimensional control to EN tolerances ensures predictable nesting, cutting, and bending results in production.

Production

Manufactured by hot rolling slabs through a calibrated mill stand and cooled on run-out tables. Supplied as coils or decoiled sheets in common sizes and thicknesses for broad industrial requirements.

Quality

Available in common structural grades and their EN equivalents to meet mechanical and fabrication requirements.
